Emi Haze is a graduate of Graphic Design and Advertising Design from the Institute of Design in Verona, Italy. Using technology in creating paintings and art has always been her dominant passion, and in the recent years she has been mostly working on freelance engagements and personal projects in pursuit of portfolio enhancement and expansion. She aims to establish herself as an artist of distinct style, creativity, and technique.

Emi’s baby steps in digital art involved the ‘construction and deconstruction’ of the human body in graphic sketch form, utilizing and manipulating different tools to achieve the desired effects.

On the other hand, her newest projects are noticeably integrations of the human body with the natural elements: earth, wind, fire, water, and an esoteric element called Aristotelian ether. This concept has given off a surreal, fantastical vibe that still, amazingly borders on reality. Her works are made vibrant with color and sensitivity.

Emi is inspired by music, particularly the likes of Coldplay, Bjork, Sigur Ros, Bloc Party, and Radiohead. Her preferred designing tool is Photoshop, but she’s nonetheless fond of incorporating hand-created elements like watercolor and acrylic stains, scratches, and splashes.

Some of her popular clients include: Adobe, Wacom, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Penguin Random House, Getty Images, Advanced Photoshop Magazine, Photoshop Creative Magazine, Practical Photoshop UK Magazine, Sam Paganini, Safarà Editore, Impossible (Instant Film), Customly, BottonShirt, Art&Curator Gallery, ABFLY Magazine, Trissed, CURATE Magazine, KLASSIK Magazine, FRANK Magazine among many others. One of her recognized works, “Cosmogony Reloaded” was featured in a short film that was showcased during the Academy Awards Oscars 2015. Her works have also been published by Adobe, Adobe Photoshop, and are on the Wacom official pages, as well as on international digital arts magazines to boot.
