Charis Tsevis is an amazing visual designer from Greece. He holds a Diploma of Graphic Design from the Deutsche Höhere Lehranstalt für Grafik und Werbung Athen (accredited by the Akademie für das Graphische Gewerbe) and a Master in Visual Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milano. Charis manages his own studio by the name of Tsevis Visual Design, a visual design and business communication consulting company in Athens serving clients all over the world. He is very famous world wide for his creative artworks and has been featured in many books, magazines and websites.
His list of clients includes but not limited to Toyota, IKEA, Best Buys, TIME, Fortune, WIRED, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal and many more. His intricate creations has won him awards at Epica, NPSA, Behance, EBGE and ED-Awards in the US and Europe and has been presented in exhibitions in Athens, Barcelona, San Jose and other cities around the globe.
He is very famous for his mosaics. “A mosaic is a piece of art or image made from the assemblage of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials. It is often used in decorative art or as interior decoration. Most mosaics are made of small, flat, roughly square, pieces of stone or glass of different colors, known as tesserae” – Wikipedia. Among his creations are Hugh Laurie made with tablets and pills, a Steve Jobs created from all kinds of Apple gadgets, Darwin, Michael Jordan, the Obamas, Florence Welch, Mark Zuckenberg, Shaq, Amy Winehouse and Mother Teresa amongst others.
