Serafim Mendes is a graphic designer based in Portugal. His main interests are typography, 3D illustration, and editorial/poster design.

His amazing artworks has been featured over the web in pages such as Étapes, Fubiz, Visualgraphc, Designspiration, Domestika, Typeverything, Yorokobu, Betype, Abduzeedo, AIGA Eye On Design, VSO China, Unrated, among others.

Serafim has also been featured in printed publications, such as dpi 設計插畫誌 (dpi magazine Taiwan) #221, Computer Arts #265 (Spring 2017), and Geometric Trend, a book published by Monsa Publications in 2017.

We are charmed by his collection and we’re impressed with his work. Serafim has lots of amazing creations but we have decided to showcase his Natural Highs Festival 2017 illustrations.

Natural Highs is an electronic outdoor music festival in Antwerp, Belgium. He created the artwork used throughout the identity and developed some graphic design solutions for 2017’s edition, such as the main poster, flyers, part of their facebook content, wristbands, stage banners, among others. The main idea was to represent not only the electronic music using the geometric elements but also nature, where the event takes place, adding some organic and natural elements.
