“Welcome Maria Luigia” is an event by Fidenza Village (one of the Value Retail Village, located just 60 minutes from Milan and Bologna, Italy) for all the family to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Duchess’s arrival in Parma. The artist and designer Ale Giorgini was asked to make a large mural drawing (wall of 14 meters) of Maria Luigia and Giuseppe Verdi that will be colored by children and their families. Ale collaborated with Disney and Warner Bros and professor of the International Comics School in Padua.
On the said event, a reading and coloring book designed by Ale in collaboration with Kreativehouse was also given for free. Plus, balloons and pins for all children!
Ale Giorgini is an illustrator from Italy. He works as an illustrator for several brands on several area such as advertising, publishing, entertainment, social contents, books and comics. He is also teaching illustration at italian Scuola Internazionale di Comics, curating the Illustri Festival and Berga Urban Museum (Vicenza).
His list of clients include Jeep, Puma, Emirates, Fandango, Foot Locker, Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, Disney Entertainment, Il Corriere della Sera, Chicago Magazine, Il Sole 24 Ore, Gruner+Jahr, Landyachtz, Mondadori and L’Espresso.
His artworks were exhibited at Graphik15 (Zurich), Galerie Sakura (Paris), Improper Walls (Wien), SDCC 2015 (San Diego), SOMArts (San Francisco), Gallery 1988 (Los Angeles), Hero Complex Gallery (Los Angeles), Nucleus Gallery (Alhambra – CA), Distinction Gallery (San Diego), Bottleneck Gallery (New York), MondoPop Gallery (Rome) and Immaginario 2.0 (Perugia).
