Hollie Mengert is a Seattle-based illustrator, kidlit artist and character designer represented by Shannon Associates. Hollie graduated college with a BFA in Design and Animation – a career path she gravitated toward after years of drawing and finding never-ending inspiration in illustrated stories and animated films.

Now working as a kidlit illustrator, character designer, and game industry animator, she is thrilled to call this passion her career. Hollie has had the opportunity to work on children’s books, games, comics, and more – she loves any opportunity to help tell a story or bring a smile with her artwork.

Her list of clients include Mattel, IDW, Ravensburger, Light Grey Art Lab, Harebrained Schemes and Familius, to name a few.

We are charmed by her collection and we’re impressed with her work. Hollie has lots of amazing creations but we have decided to showcase her 31 Days of Harry – a Character Design for #31daysofharry on Instagram – a character for each day of July. All during July, talented fans participated in the #31DaysOfHarry challenge. Each day, fans would share an illustration they did inspired by the series, (for Harry’s birthday month – he was born on July 31).
