Cristian Girotto is a high-end photo retoucher living in Paris. His photo retouching series sterns from the idea that somewhere hidden inside each of us is a young core, instinctive, creative but also innocent and naïve. What would happen if this intimate essence was completely revealed?
L’ Enfant Extérieur (The Outer Child) takes into analysis this possibility, showing us a world of men in the shape of children, as if the body could slip on the ugliness of life, less expected to imagine big fawn’s eyes winking in the night clubs or little chubby hands shaking in the offices. The artistic creativity is even more evident when you look deep into facial expressions of his creations.
